Block Diaries was Created in October 31 2010 by 2 upcoming film makers/Directors. 

Marc Alonzo born and raised on the Westside of Chicago teamed up with Cyprian from Oak park ill and Cornell hill from Oak park also, to put together a vision that Marc Alonzo had about parts of the city he's seen and been threw! 

Together, the two, Marc Alonzo & Cyprian/Cyp came up with the idea, Tha Block Diaries. They would put all Chicago's artists and special guests in this film to display their artistic talents and music. Marc Alonzo would come up with the plots, Cast and location. Cyp would do the technical work involving the use of camera and video editing as well as ideas. Marc Alonzo also did get involved in the use of camera. 

Cornell Hill would make sure of the credits for the cast and ideas as well. The team was called Undivided Ent. Which we decided to put a season out which contained 18 Parts to the 1st season. The team started to venture into their own visions and talents, but Marc Alonzo Did not just want to stop with one Season so he decided to do a Season 2 of the most spoken "classic street / underground" series of Chicago, Block Diaries. 

Now teaming up with Chicago legends Cold Hard of Crucial Conflict and C.E.O White Boy James of Legit Ballas Records the maker of Chicago's own Rapper Twista. Together they will bring the Whole City to one side! And That's Tha Block Diaries side! Tha Block Diaries is already Considered as a "Classic" and would never Be Forgotten !
